I’m a Freelance Virtual Assistant based in the New Forest, Hampshire. After 25 enjoyable years working in an office environment, gaining extensive knowledge in administration, customer care and senior management, I decided it was time to set up my own business offering my skills and expertise to small businesses!
When I am not working to help my clients grow their businesses, I love spending time with my family. I am wife to my wonderful supportive husband and the proud mum to our two gorgeous girls who certainly keep me active! We love family time and getting out and about as much as possible, making lots of fun memories together.
I am passionate about helping people succeed in all walks of life. Over the past 14 years I have been an Office Manager, then General Manager, where I loved being able to nurture and empower my team, helping them grow and develop their own strengths, knowing I was always there to support them.
A snippet of my journey so far . . .
I started my working career in London, for the first 6 years I was a Legal Secretary at Slaughter and May, a large law firm in London; I then went on to be Customer Service Executive at the FA Premier League, for 5 years. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working in London the work was good fun and the nightlife perhaps even more so!
I relocated to the New Forest in 2005 after meeting my husband at Butlins! I started working as a PA/Office Manager for a home improvement company called Warmroof Systems Ltd/Solar Home Energy Ltd, unfortunately, the company went into administration in 2008.
I was certainly one of the lucky ones as, during a very difficult economic time, I was immediately recruited by the owners of Ideal Solar Energy Ltd, which was a fledgling company, again working as an Office Manager/PA to the Directors. After 6 great years I went on maternity leave with my second child during which time the company sadly closed its doors.
After a year’s maternity leave I found myself working at Greenspace (UK) Ltd, a lovely family owned, customer focussed, company where the owners and a number of staff were people I had been fortunate enough to work with before. I initially worked as Office Manager and was promoted to General Manager in December 2017.
After 4 fun filled years, juggling family and work life, I made the decision to venture out on my own here at Absolute Admin.
